Welcome |
|
| Curlew Crest is a rural community nested along the upper shelf of the Frenchman Hills of Grant County, Washington. Each platted lot overlooks unique panoramic views of the blue waters of Potholes Reservoir and several inlets. |
The area is comprised of sand dunes, rocky canyons and dozens of lakes. Thousands are attracted to this beautiful desert terrain each year to enjoy fishing, hunting, golf, water sports and the 300 days of warm sunshine. The Columbia Wildlife Refuge, just two miles east of Curlew Crest, is a favorite for wildlife viewing and bird watching.
Curlew Crest is both a family and retirement community offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with clean air and striking views and plenty of space for custom design development.

Curlews |
|
| Curlew Crest is named
for the unique, wonderful birds that migrate to this
area. An aura of wildness surrounds the curlew perhaps
more than any other wader. Its calls epitomise the
atmosphere of the lonely marshes and tideways where
it is found. |
Most
memorable part of the curlew's repertoire is the
beautiful bubbling trill which is specially related
to courtship and may in fact be appreciated at all
seasons. |
